Gradually flintlock mechanism has been improved, and the early 17th century decimated, begins producing flint rifles. Gun barrel is longer. Consequently, the bullets striking is much stronger, and the trajectory of the bullets is more accurate. Flint gun is slowly being replaced by a flint rifle, which is much more efficient and suitable for military use. The effectiveness of the shot was also dependent on the quantity of gunpowder and bullet’s (ball) weight. The given scheme is only a rough insight, showing the effectiveness of the shot.
